Here's a scrapbook page of a nest of birds on my porch. The mother bird was dive bombing me whilst I took the pictures!! Here's a link to purchase the digital kit I used.
I spent a long time on Saturday making this purse. At 10pm last night, after ripping out my final seams in disgust, I finished this morning at 7am. It's McCalls pattern M5822 which I got for .88c last week at Hancocks. The fabric, which is so yummy was all purchased at my fav place on earth... Dragonfly Quilt Shop near my home. I think it looks ok... the zipper insert was a total pain and probably could have been done differently than the pattern instructed but I was too tired to think. Oh well, I love the colors.
I made this yesterday morning to commemorate my mother's Uncle James Hodges, who survived the Bataan Death march, only to die in the prison camp days before the allied forces rescued the camp.
I have so many digital scrapbook images, I wanted to use a few. I started messing around this morning and ended up with an Alice theme. Image credits go to : Sherrie Drummond for the word art and Irene Alexeeva at Scrap Orchard for the background and images.
I know I've been gone a while. Busy working etc. but I've been taking photos lately and using my new Nikon D60. Plus, Photoshop Elements 7 creating digital scrap pages etc. Here's a few pics:
